Ahead Sanitation Systems Sewage Treatment Plant STP series are accepted worldwide in accordance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) Resolution MEPC .227 (64) to meet operational requirements referred to in regulation 9 of Annex IV of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL).
Ahead Tank Type II biological (bacteria/air) Sewage Treatment Systems are constructed of a Durable, Lightweight & Corrosion Proof LLPE (polyethylene) material. AHEAD TANK is the FIRST & ONLY polyethylene Type II Sewage Treatment System constructed with the three necessary internal watertight chambers rotationally molded into the internal structure of a single Tank. This allows the Treatment Process to function equally or better than the traditional steel fabricated systems of today, with the added benefits of being Easier to Handle, a Smaller Footprint, Simpler to Install & Operate & at a fraction of the cost of a steel fabricated system.
Ahead STP Series also complies with USCG Title 33 (CFR) 159. and (CFR) 1159.97 and may be installed aboard Inspected Vessels.
