How Do They Work?
Exclusively designed for inboard vessels, our Shaft Mounted System is an ideal fit for private vessels. Functioning similarly to the Propeller Mounted Systems, lines are guided down to the propeller hub and cut before the next revolution. However, the Shaft Mounted System differs in its installation—it’s clamped onto the shaft, utilizing its inertial force. A blade hydroplanes on a Kevlar/Teflon bearing, held stationary by a wedge holding block mounted on the strut with three screws.
